What is a Block Party?
Our Block Party events are focused on bringing together the Car, Truck, and Motorcycle enthusiast community for a great & safe time! We welcome ALL people, ALL vehicles, and ALL automotive clubs! We do this for ALL of YOU!
This is a laid back event from 4-9pm with no set itinerary. The goal is to provide the community with a positive and uplifting event that brings everyone together for an enjoyable time!
For this event we are partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention: Indiana Chapter and Little Red Door Cancer agency to help bring awareness to both mental health and bring support to those battling cancer. Please help us raise money for them by pre-registering for this event because portions of each ticket sold will go to the charities!
There is the Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum around the corner from our event. It is opened that day until 4pm. This would be a great place to visit ahead of arriving to our event!
Some Key Things to Note for This Event:
To park on the premises it is required you have a PARKING PASS! Pre-purchase is the best guaranteed way to ensure you a spot to park. Parking passes will be sold on-site beginning at 5:30pm. This allows all pre-purchase customers to arrive first and obtain the best parking.
NO smoking on premises! This means absolutely NO lit cigarettes or cigars! This will be strictly enforced.
We have parking passes available online for $30 per car/truck/motorcycle.
Each ticket purchased will receive 1 windshield sticker. This sticker is your admission to the event, and must be present on windshield upon entry.
Your arrival instructions will be mailed to you with your admission sticker.
This place is absolutely MASSIVE! Pictures do not do it justice. We’ve provided pictures below to show the type of surface you’ll be parking on. The perimeter of our event area is 1 full mile.
All on-site facilities will be portable restrooms and portable hand-wash stations. This includes ADA accessible.
We will have several food trucks on-site, so please come ready to eat!
We are working with multiple police agencies to assure great traffic flow and traffic control. Your windshield sticker helps us expedite your entry.
We have room for vendors! Contact us at info@indyhoodrats.com if you’d like to set up a booth at this event, or if you’re a food truck that would like to attend!
NO drifting, spinning, burnouts, racing, two-stepping, or excessive revving permitted. All laws must be followed! Police will be on-site and a heavy presence in the area.
This event is Rain or Shine! Come prepared! Only extreme weather will move the event to the following day (Sunday).
We’d love to have your car club/group attend and advertise yourselves! Please inquire directly with us at info@indyhoodrats.com to discuss reserving a section for your club/group.
How much does it cost to attend?
This event requires a parking pass to bring your vehicle onto the premises, though attendance per person is FREE! Only cost is per-vehicle. The cost helps us cover venue expenses, security expenses, and amenities. A portion of each ticket also goes towards charity, so every ticket is helping AFSP: Indiana and Little Red Door Cancer Agency!
Where is this event taking place?
This will take place at the Columbus Municipal Airport in Columbus, Indiana. Specifically taking place on their NW Apron, located at 5157 N Warren Dr, Columbus, Indiana 47203.
Where should I stay if I’m from out of town?
Many are coming from out of town and will be staying overnight nearby the venue. We highly encourage you look near Columbus to find a place to stay! Their community is great and has much to offer visitors! There are several hotel options.
What type of crowd is expected?
We have some of the very best automotive crowds out there! Our followers and fans come from all walks of life and all locations. We are an all-inclusive business who welcomes everyone. We want to keep our events safe and secure, and ask that you help by following our few rules for no-nonsense, no drama, no burnouts, no drifting, no spinning, no two-stepping, and no excessive revving. And please pick up after yourself and dispose of any trash into the trash receptacles.
We will have Racing Sims on-site for this event, and available for you to purchase sessions. Who will have the fastest times?!
SimplyRace is a mobile racing simulator experience based in the Indiana area that brings professional-grade racing setups directly to events. Guests can compete for the fastest lap time in a realistic racing cockpit while friends and family watch live. It’s a fun, competitive attraction designed for all ages.

Food and Beverage
Current Food Trucks that are attending: Indy Porkopolis BBQ, Union Jack Food Truck, Chef Dan’s, and Flipa Mexican and Sandwiches.
